I have a 2-seat fishing kayak that's loaded with accessories, which makes it very heavy. After ordering and receiving a competing system from Amazon, i was very concerned about whether or not the system from Amazon would handle the weight of my decked-out kayak. I elected to order the heaviest-duty Suspenz system instead, which I just completed installing, and voila! i can crank my boat up to the celiing of my garage with ease. This is a seriously good system, with substantial high-quality tackle. The installation instructions were also great. If you are seeking a serious hoist system and want to sleep well at night - this is the one. I couldn't be happier.
We have 3 canoes on our rack, sometimes 4. These brackets are a snap to relocate to maximize storage.
I have the taller size and really like it. I wanted a second set for our other kayak. Love these stands & my other Suspenz items.

After speaking a couple of times with the amazing customer service staff, I chose the Deluxe Rack marine grade black version with the stabilizer and casters. Super fast shipping! Easy assembly, rock solid build quality and works perfectly. Ideal solution for safely storing two 12-13ft fishing kayaks in a garage with limited space. Bought the expansion bar to add height, plan to add an additional set of deluxe arms to hold 3 boats.
The quick release wheel pin does the job but on my last many portage canoe trip I dropped it in the dirt or the lake twice. I was able to find it both times but I decided that instead of having to "jury rig" the wheel in place if it happened again, I was going to purchase extras and tape them to the cart frame. Normally if I have a back up I never need it!
What a great idea. Dry Bag with insight! Now I can see what I have in my clothes bag and where its at. Prior to owning this I had to dump the contents and sort though them. it would work well for food also.
Excellent solution for stowing SUP in my garage, easy to install and sturdy. Paddle can be sowed on the rack below th board.
Somehow, my kayak gets heavier every year, and this cart is easy to use and works perfectly. It has given me new freedom and confidence to head out to new paddle sites.

Sturdy, good instructions, easy to assemble and set the correct length on the crossbar for my kayak before connecting to the free-standing rack frame. Makes setting and storing the kayak in the frame super easy as the crossbar keeps the frames aligned nicely and moving the entire rack with kayak stored on it a breeze.
We've tried a bunch of kayak carts, suspenz is by far the best - light, collapses down nicely, intuitive, stores nicely. if you can afford it, do your self a favor and don't buy that cheap crap on amazon - get a suspenz cart instead
Looked up reviews from REI.com customers and yes the Suspenz Ez-Stow cart is universal and may be used on the bow and stern of older kayaks. I found it best to use on the stern of my Dagger Catalyst versus the bow. The stern has a eyelet latch right above the hatch, where I'm able to hookup the strap. Any excessive straps I loop around bungee cords. I'm able to stow the cart in the stern's hatch with ease, once I remove the pins from the wheels for storage when not using the cart. Easy loading of the kayak on roof top of my Tahoe with the Suspenz Ez-Stow cart.
