Would recommend for anyone needing more space and organization in their garage
Having used other Suspenz products like their work stands and airless cart, I had a certain expectation in mind when I ordered this. I wasn't disappointed, but if I was actually ordering the marine version for extra longevity outside, I would've been - my stands arrived with some dings and blemishes in the paint that would need to have been touched up if I was storing it in the weather and didn't want it to rust. Where it was just going in my barn, I didn't worry about that. Easy to adjust, and holds my whitewater and sea kayaks properly, with just strap contact on the hulls. If I could add one thing to increase functionality, it would be nice if the support cradles were also drilled for storage hooks - the slip-on accessory hooks are a poor design, and I ended up going with a different way to store my paddles. A friction fit isn't a good idea there, a bolt would be better.
Use it for large fishing kayaks - both inside and outside storage (in remote Alaska). Great quality, very stable and easy to use.
We use this to store two Old Town Big Water 13', 100lb ea kayaks. These stands are sturdy and solid enough to hold our water craft.
I have had this yellow system for many years. Holds two Native Kayaks, one 12 foot sit on top, one 10 foot sit inside located on my dock. Hurricane Irma brought winds I have never seen to our Lake Keowee cove on Sept 11, 2017. Completely blew the kayak stands and kayaks into the lake. Took me several weeks to locate and recover the stands etc. Well I should have taken action then but I did not. I just today replaced all the nuts, bolts and washers that had rusted from being submerged for weeks. What I want to say is this thing is build like a tank. While the hardware had rusted - none of the frame rusted. Paint and coating is still going strong. So I replaced all the hardware with stainless and will keep the stand tethered to the dock posts. I would purchase this system again in a heartbeat. I am 70 years old ( terrible ) and can easily remove the kayaks to go on the lake or fishing whenever I want. Solid piece of equipment. Well done. PS - none of the bolts were frozen or impossible to remove. Outstanding
